The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) was established in 1912 and is the exclusive provider of workers’ compensation insurance in Ohio serving 257,000 public and private employers. The BWC has nearly 1,600 employees and assets of approximately $21 billion, it is one of the largest state-run insurance systems in the United States.
Dan Fodor will address the group regarding the various Programs and Initiatives that are currently being offered by the BWC, and their impact on public and private employers within the state of Ohio. He will also discuss Safety Services within the Bureau.
Dan Fodor currently serves as Chief of Safety Services at the Ohio BWC. Dan has almost 33 years of experience at the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, including over 23 years in the Special Investigations Department and 8 years in the Internal Audit Department. He has served in his current role for about 1 ½ years. He received his B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Ohio State University. He is responsible for overseeing the Health & Wellness, Safety & Hygiene, and Workforce Safety Innovation Center teams.
