The Greater Cleveland Safety Council is a charter member of AASC, an international association of Safety Councils located across the United States and Canada. Each year, AASC selects a deserving person to receive a $1,000 scholarship. They choose the recipient from applications submitted to them. Applications are accepted from employees and members of their families of the various Safety Councils who are members of AASC. They also accept applications from the members of these Safety Councils. As your organization is a member of our Safety Council, the scholarship is open to all people employed by your organization and their families.
Under the members tab above click on resources. It will take you to an American Association of Safety Councils link. Here you will obtain more information and the application. The deadline to submit your application for this year’s scholarship is March 1, 2018.
This is an excellent opportunity for you or someone in your family to try and score additional funds for education. Good luck!
