March Virtual Meeting

Are Transitional Work Programs

Really Worth the Effort?

With

Shanna Dunbar, Founder and President

Workplace Health Inc.
March 15, 2022

10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Employers with a transitional work plan actively participate in the recovery and return to work of their employees.  Injured employees can resume their work functions with minimal time off, and employers are better prepared to place an injured employee in a job or given work tasks consistent with any medical or physical restrictions.

Finding modified work or “light duty” for an employee who has work restrictions can be a bother. But – providing an injured worker with job activities as they rehabilitate is not only good for the employee – but for your business as well.  Join us on March 15th when we welcome Shanna Dunbar a board-certified occupational health nurse who will demonstrate to you the value of a transitional work program at your company – plus enlighten us about a GRANT opportunity through the Ohio BWC.

The presenter is Shanna Dunbar, is a registered Nurse certified in Occupational Health Nursing. She has focused on improving employee health throughout her career. Founder and President of Workplace Health Inc., Shanna works with employers to implement cost-effective strategies that improve employee health and productivity.

The cost of this meeting is $5. This money will help ease the strain on the Safety Council’s budget due to the current situation.  We deeply appreciate your support and continued participation with our meetings during this difficult time.  Our virtual meeting will be available online to those who registered by connecting to the prescribed link that will be sent to them by email.

Please note that the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation BWC’s Safety Council Rebate Program has been suspended for the Program Year 2021.-22
