There are numerous patented, trademarked, or proprietary programs that promise an improvement in safety performance. There might be a complex recipe card for your specific business or market but there is no secret sauce for safety.
This presentation is intended to be an interactive discussion where we will validate the importance of employee engagement in developing and maintaining a safety culture /climate/attitude. As we strive for safety excellence – making safety a way of life – worldwide, personal observations, that have had a positive or negative impact will be discussed.
The presenter is Mark Mattheiss, WSO, CET is the Senior Safety Director for Aramark Facilities Division. Mr. Mattheiss has over 30 years of combined service in occupational safety, nuclear safety, environmental compliance, and personnel/project management. Mr. Mattheiss has held certifications from the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT), National Environmental Training Association (CET), and the World Safety Organization (WSO). Mr. Mattheiss has degrees in Nuclear Technology, and Organizational Leadership.
Anyone interested in attending this meeting will be required to register and pay.
The cost of this meeting is $5. This money will help ease the strain on the Safety Council’s budget due to the current situation.
