We conduct our December safety meeting a little differently. We still want to provide information that will help keep our members safe and healthy but also include some fun activities to celebrate this special time of the year.
Once again, we have asked Santa Claus (aka-Tom Neff) and Jiminy, the Super Safe Elf (aka-Jim Chambers) to give a presentation on special tips for keeping safe both at work and at home. The holidays are a special time of the year, filled with joy and happiness but there are many hazards that need to be kept in check.
Santa, aka Tom Neff worked at Rockwell Automation for close to 35 years and held several positions including the EH&S Manager when he retired in 2018. He currently works for our Safety Council as an Instructor and consultant. Jiminy, aka Jim Chambers is currently a Site Safety Manager for Aramark Facility Services. Jim is super passionate about safety and treats it as one of his key underlying values.
The cost of this meeting is $5. This money will help ease the strain on the Safety Council’s budget due to the current situation. We deeply appreciate your support and continued participation with our meetings during this difficult time. Our virtual meeting will be available online to those who registered. A meeting link will be emailed the week before.
Please note that the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation BWC’s Safety Council Rebate Program has been suspended for the Program Year 2021-22.
